Artificial Ice Shapes

The artificial replicas of complex ice structures are produced using 3D printing in a patented process from Pegasus. These are based either on 3D scan data of real ice structures or on simulation results. The aerodynamic properties of the ice replicas are comparable to those of actual ice accretion and are suitable for aerodynamic tests in wind tunnels and flight tests.
